You can thank my friend Beth for calling me Margarita MacPhisto. It started with Spanish class, where we had to pick names. I almost picked Gloria but decided that Magarita is a much cooler name. I added MacPhisto to it and it was really cool. (Think about it, Gloria MacPhisto is just kinda lame) Hey, I just thought of something, MacPhisho. Who likes the band Phish? I've heard of them but never heard them. My stepsister loves them. Anyway... Here's some pictures of my alter ego... School Halloween Dance, October 29, 1999 A cast party, November 1999 Same cast party, November 1999 The lovely lady in the blue is my mom, she *made* that costume. McCalls pattern + a few yards of gold lame + Singer + mom + 2 weeks = A kickass outfit I found the shirt in her closet. It was only after I wore the costume that I learned that MacPhisto has a *ruffly* shirt. Wow. What a cool coincidence. The makeup is just, well, makeup. I made the horns too. Got some cheesy plastic ones and cut slits in them and put them on a headband. I painted my favorite pair of boots (black vinyl waffle stomper beatle boots w/ 2" heels) with my moms gold silk paint. (Yes, my mom is very creative. She made my costume, *and* she paints scarves) and now the paint won't come off my boots. But oh well, now I've got a new favorite pair of shoes, my wonderful little Doc Martens. :) |
