Reading is fun!

Why did I say that?

I know, I sound like some teacher, or one of those basketball players that's being manipulated by the authorities to say stuff like that. But I rarely ever read a book recommended by teachers. Cause they reccommend stuff for my 'reading level' you know, young adult books. Well, those get boring after awhile.

Reading is boring if you're reading a boring book.

It's that simple.

So, read a good book. May I give you some suggestions?

Pretty much anything by Tom Clancy is good. I've read quite a few of his books. I read The Hunt for Red October in 6th grade and I've been hooked ever since. And his books are edumacational too. You learn lots of interesting stuff about nuclear weapons and submarines and war tactics and stuff like that. You can also learn lots of cool military lingo to impress (and confuse) your friends with.

Douglas Adams: This guy used to work with the Monty Python bunch so you know he's gotta be weird. The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy is one of the most hilarious things I have ever read, ever. Read it.

Mark Twain is most commonly known for his classics. But he was also a smart-ass. One of the great smart-asses of all time. He said stuff like "Few things are harder to put up with than the annoyances of a good example." and "Truth is the most valuable thing we have. Let us economize it."
